This morning’s play list is just another example of the eclectic mix of post WWII blues that we feature on Thursday mornings “Breakfast with the Blues” on KRVM. I enjoy playing music from all my favorites’ artists and this week I’ve added one more favorite to my long list. Today I featured new music from “Julie Black”. Her “You Just Might Win” CD is nothing less than pure entertainment and the title track off the CD is a can’t miss knock out song that should appeal to a massive blues and jazz audience. I can’t wait to share more songs off this album in weeks ahead. I also played a couple songs from Eric Bibb’s new CD “Booker’s Guitar” which is a sweet easy to listen to CD featuring beautiful instrumentation and Eric’s usual smooth delivery. Great stuff. Hope to catch you next time.
