I had such a great time yesterday...been awhile and logged a few more greatful notches on my life since last time. Peggy and I faced our second fight between me and Cancer...we are happy to report we are 2 and 0. Dr Walker headed a brillant team and our friends and family held us in a warm positive light. Thankyou for your kindness and meditations.

OK...so, yesterday I featured a new friend of mine and his 6th release... DAVIS COEN..."MAGANOLIA LAND"...on Soundview Productions, Memphis Tn.

Rather than take alot of space to tell you all the cool folks he has shared a stage with including the allstar band on this CD...or all the stations (including Musak and DMX Satelite radio) that are playin' his CD's...or his original music on Martin Scorsese's PBS special "The Blues"...or a number of world tours...or a DVD documentary about "Hillcountry Blues" and the music of the late great Jesse Mae Hemphill...or "the past two years Davis has played at a clean-up kickoff in Gulfport and Biloxi, Mississippi for Katrina victims, performing before the Mayor of both cities and was honored with an achievment award for his conglomerate MS Coast relief efforts"...or that I would recomend this CD for a road trip and it is in my truck CD player right now...nope, I think I'll let you check out his web site and get the whole story.
